Rohit Jacob Mathew is a skilled Software Development Engineer (SDE) with over 5 years of relevant experience in the tech industry. He is currently working at Trellix, where he is a part of the Platform Engineering Team building SecOps products. His primary contribution is to the Marketplace, Developer & API product, which provides an open ecosystem to leverage the Trellix platform. He also contributes to the Cloud-based Security Management tool ePO, which is one of the most advanced, extensible, and scalable centralized security management software in the industry. Rohit is also an Auth0 Ambassador, where he works on empowering the developer community, making the internet safer, and building his personal brand. He contributes by writing blog posts, giving talks at meetups and conferences, hosting workshops and webinars, and organizing local developer events in their communities and abroad. Prior to his current role, Rohit worked at Turtlemint, where he built a reliable product for agents to sell insurance and helped them scale 50x from 20k insurance agents to 1 million + insurance agents and a growing SaaS business. He has also done 7 internships during his undergraduate education culminating with his internship at HackerRank. Rohit's interests currently lie in the development of scalable solutions, DevOps, Developer Relations/Dev Evangelism, as well as smart AI-based systems. He is excited about almost anything in tech and is always looking to expand his knowledge. In his free time, he enjoys binging on Spotify playlists to find the next big Indian Independent Artists, going to music gigs and festivals, playing football, supporting either of his two favorite football teams (Manchester United and Bengaluru FC), trying new craft beers, reading up on the industry, the world in general, and attempting to not be an out-of-practice musician. Rohit holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Computer Software Engineering from SRM University and completed his schooling in Science and Computer Applications from CMR Group of Institutions. He has expertise in Software Engineering, AI, Redis, Docker, Javascript, MongoDB, DevOps, NodeJS, and Java.
